The Aftermath

Here's a tip. If you see a black canvas it might be mine, hence you may want to figure out how you can see what's beneath the "Black Plague"... there is a way.

A conceptual work in progress

This is part of an on going work, which I have started earlier this year. I create an artwork (i.e. a painting) and then I "paint/cover" over it in black, with what I call the "Black Plague". There's more to it and maybe one day when I've done enough of them I will describe exactly what it is, or maybe you might actually see one or hold one experience the entire piece. But for now it will remain as a black canvas. Here I'm letting you see what may be found beneath it.

My goal is to make a new banner everyday so keep your eyes peeled. I will also post it as a post so if you have an RSS feed it'll show up!

Paraboxes

Msg to the future: Floor Time Capsule

I'm going to be moving soon, and ever since knowing that I have been noticing the small things about my home, i.e. loose floor panels, interestingly chipped walls. Since I will be moving I decided to leave messages around the house beneath the loose floor panels for future tenants.

Irrational Thoughts

Sometimes we just don't know what to do or say...

an experimental studio sculpture i'd thought i'd do.

I'm usually not a fan of isolated gallery type work, but I decided to take a an experimental 3-D sculpture class and worked on this for 11 weeks/ about 88 hours in total. I brought it home only to try and discover a second life for it, i.e. a lamp, but the plaster and burlap doesn't work to well for that, so here I document it before I throw it out.
